These camp ovens are similar to dutch ovens. The difference is that they have three legs to stand on. They are great for over the camp fire cooking because they stand above the coals. They have a concave lid to put coals in so you are heating from the top and bottom. These pots can be used to make the South African stew potjie-kos or potjiekos.
